...Oh my god. I love you.
:iconthe-darkmoogle:
It started out I was on a forum needing a new avatar

+ drunk.

So I put on some Aphex Twin and started rocking out, as much as one can rock out to electronica

Then I stripped

Then I put on some clothes and stepped into a closet

Then I came back out, put on the pants, and ran at the camera screaming.

This had some success as an avatar. I realized soon afterwards that it desperately needed to feel more like techno music. Thus was born what would be the most annoying idea I would ever have: Going through a 250 fram animation and copy/pasting roughly half of them, one at a time, into photoshop for editing with lights.

It took like three hours off and on, but I think it was worth it.

Thanks, lol

A drug person can learn to handle such things as seeing their dead grandmother crawling up their leg with a knife in her teeth. But no one should be asked to deal with this trip.

LOL That is the best thing I've seen in a long time.

*applauds* well done man well done!!!

It's not introversion... just really good spam filtering!

I like this one. It's all what the hell. Looks like it could be a huge file though.

Paper dance. Ha.

You should make one of those mind blowing ones... Where it's an eternal loop of killing yourself/dancing/whatever. Don't know if you know what I'm talking about, but if you lurk in GBS you should know.

I had to keep it under 1mb so I could upload it to imageshack.us and use it as an avatar, and that was actually easier than it sounds- when using lighting effects on a frame, it simplified the color palette in that frame so much it actually dropped the filesize considerably. (Of course, that's also why there's that whole section that's just red, because it was about 900k when I finished the first time- then I went back and added the paper dance part.)

I've already got another one like this in mind, and it does involve blood and the suggestion of death. It's gonna be a bit more serious. I'll probably make an avatar-sized version and a bigger one to upload here. The problem with it is even if it comes out perfectly the way it's envisioned, everyone but me might hate it. But that's alright.

On that note, any suggestions for the use of fake blood? It has to splatter well.

If in black and white, use acrylic ink mixed with water. Usually comes out fairly dark and a good consistency.

If they sell red acrylic ink that might work too... But tempra paint and water (And maybe a little black to darken it up) works good.

How much of that stains? I'll be splattering it on paper which will probably miss and hit a desk, plus it'll be on me which may well drip onto my beige chair.
